flea market finds

I don't dare go into the charity shops too often, there's always far too much to tempt me, and I have a weakness for odd bits of crockery, which is gradually replacing all my boring white plates and chipped bowls.

If only I could listen in on the conversations these teacups have heard.  (5 of them, with side plates - heavenly)

textile bits and bobs, another weekness

I had to leave, before I bought even more.

For more flea market finds pop over to Her Library Adventures.

  1. Love that blue, white and silver plate and bowls! I am with you on the weaknesses!!! Teehee : )

  2. I know what you mean about charity shops - I justify all my purchases by reasoning that the money goes to a good cause!

  3. If you weren't so lovely I'd be hotfooting it down to rob you of those blue platinum plates!!
    I NEED them!!!

  4. Hi Colette - thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I didn't crochet the colourful hanger - it's from a Japanese book - mine is the boring brown and white one!

  5. Oh I love everything you found. Well done you!

Enjoyed reading your blog. I'll be back!

  6. These are great. I am rather jealous. Its made me realise just how long its been since I went out hunter gathering at a flea market. If only there were more days in the week...

  7. I love all your finds and its lovely to see little ones outside in the fresh air learning where their veggies come from:)

    You mst be VERY busy!!

I hace a Crafty Give Away over on my Blog if you want to pop over and have a look:)

Thank you for leaving a comment - it makes me smile to know you're out there. x
