Giveaway - 13 spools

Giveaway now CLOSED, thanks for entering!

As part of 13spools's Up and Coming Designer Program I'm giving away a set of 3 of my screen printed fabric panels. If you're visiting from 13 spools, hello and welcome. If you scroll through you'll see that besides screen-printing and designing, I love improv quilting and dressmaking.

In Amy's latest post you'll see how she's paired up my fabrics with those already in her stash, I love how she's mixed them up!
You can read my introduction here and find out more about my background and inspiration here.

Which colours would you add to your stash, juicy Raspberry?

Cool duck egg blue and stone, or maybe sunshine yellow? My Etsy shop has other colours and designs too, take a look - which are your favourites?

The lucky winner will be able to choose 3 panels of their choice from my Etsy shop.

In return I'd like your opinion, I'm considering putting together sewing kits using my fabrics as I often get asked for them, is this something that would interest you, and if so what kits would you like to see? e.g. bag / purse, bunting, cushion making kits...?

To be in with a chance you need to be a follower, either here on my blog (with GFC / Bloglovin / Feedly etc) or on Instagram (ColetteMoscrop) or Facebook and tell me what type of sewing kits (if any) are of interest to you.

So to enter the giveaway leave ONE comment telling me where you follow me and what sewing kits would interest you (if any). If you're a no reply blogger please include your email address otherwise I can't contact you if you win!

The giveaway ends on Saturday 23rd May, 9pm UK BST.

Good Luck!

p.s. if you're not here from 13spools, pop over there and pick up the discount code for 15% off in my shop when you spend £10 or more!

Edited to announce the winner....

Thank you for entering and leaving comments, your thoughts on kits have been very useful.

Congratulations Sylvia, I'll be in touch and you can choose your fabric panels.

  2. I am new here, visiting from 13 spools. Not a kit person myself, but I do love fabric bundles. However, others seem to like bag kits.

  3. I follow via bloglovin. These are lovely subtle graphic prints. I'd go for a cushion kit!

  4. Hi Collette - I prefer to buy fabric bundles rather than kits. Then I intermingle the fabrics with others in my stash. I can't find a bloglovin button but do follow you through email.

  7. The duck egg is beautiful!
I like wallet kits best! They are little things but can be so complicated that I like following directions when making them

  8. I am new here from 13 spools. I have not bought any kits although I have been tempted a few times by some very pretty quilt kits. I am drawn more to bundles. I really liked something in all your color ways and could see using thes with things in my stash. I mainly are drawn to scrap quilts. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net

  10. I follow you on Facebook and am a new follower on Bloglovin. I'm not one to buy kits so I can't offer any input there. Love, love, love your prints! nkadenver@yahoo.com

  11. I'm now following by email and I'll see if I can figure out how to do it in FB (all new to me!). I also am not a kits gal. I do love your prints - especially the cool duck egg blue.. I'm glad I've been introduced to you!

  12. Following with Bloglovin and Instagram. I love your prints and would use them to make small pouches or notebook covers, in kit form or not...

  13. I follow via email/Bloglovin and facebook. I love your fabrics! I would personally prefer being able to purchase a yard of fabric since I rarely make anything except quilts and that takes more then a small piece of fabric. I rarely buy kits, but if I were to do so, I would probably be interested in a pouch since the lining and zipper would be included.

  14. I now follow you on Instagram. I think kits to make a pouch or bag or cushion with the fabric and hardware needed and instructions would be great. It's often such a hassle to put together all the stuff needed. You could have some of your fabric, a coordinating solid and a matching zip all ready to go. I see you print different designs in the same colours, I would have kits where it's everything you need for this item except a piece of your fabric which you pick separately. I look forward to seeing them!

  15. I follow by email. I don't usually buy kits, but I think I could be persuaded by something like a bag kit if it came with all the necessary fabric and bits and pieces because shopping around in different places is a pain and often stops me making more complicated things. I can see that cushion kits might appeal to people with less experience (and fabric already in their houses!), although it's probably not something that I'd buy.

I'm very excited to see that you're in the uk, as so much cool stuff seems to be on the other side of the pond which makes shipping and customs charges so tricky. I'm pleased to have found you!

  17. I follow you via bloglovin. I like kits, I don't often buy them myself but I love receiving them as gifts as everything's there ready for you. I think a bag kit would really go down well, maybe a simple tote type bag for beginners and a more involved handbag for more experienced sewers. x

  18. I follow on GFC. I'm not big into kits but bag kits would probably be my top choice.

  21. Hi. I follow you on ig and love you blog so it's going on my list too. I'm another one who doesn't do kits so much. I make bags but tend to mix with other fabrics.

  22. Hi - I found you on 13spools and follow you on Facebook now. Love those hexagonal dots... Kits are a good idea - perhaps pillow covers, wallets, wristlets, or totes? They're manageable projects with a useful result.

  23. I am a new follower on FB. I love your fabrics and I really like the idea of a kit! For a wall hanging, a cushion, or just a creative material bag, any would be lovely. Thank you!

  28. I like fabric bundles rather than kits for specific items.

  29. I love to make bags so I think that's a great choice, but it might also be nice to offer a kit for a smaller project like a zipper bag or pincushion for people newer to sewing, looking for a quick gift idea or who just don't have a lot of time to sew. I follow you by email and Facebook! Many thanks!

  30. I'm new and just started following your blog, facebook and pintrest a few days ago all the way from my sewing studio in California! A friend, who doesn't sew, bought some of your GORGEOUS fabric and asked me to make a couple Zinnia skirts for her. I'm now officially in love. :) I think a purse or bag kit would be fabulous. I LOVE KITS. fun, fun, fun. SO glad she "introduced" me to you.

  31. That is the most gorgeous fabric I've seen in a long time!!!! I think many people like to make bags - for themselves and for gifts. For the same reason 'classy' baby gifts would be beautiful - there's always someone expecting. Thank you!

  32. I do love kits, they make choosing patterns and coordinating fabrics an easy purchase. Recently I have been looking into making a purse so I would say purse kits and also bag kits. Your fabric is gorgeous, I love the prints. I follow you on Bloglovin

  33. I would just like to see more bundles. I love your fabric, so clean and pretty!

  34. I follow you via Bloglovin'. I need pin cushions. Nice ones, that are nicely weighted at the bottom. ...and a good size. It would be fun to make one (or 50) from your fabrics!

  38. I would be most likely to purchase FQ bundles. But if I was buying a kit I think I'd be interested in home-decor kits, not bags.
